The morning session was used to review the previous hull design developments in Paramarine followed by an introduction into cross sectional design, different surface patch techniques followed by a demonstration of X-Topology. In the afternoon session, Paramarine users got to try out PolyCAD and X-Topology for themselves. The workshop was attended by a selection of Naval Architects involved in hull and surface design from accross the UK naval ship building industry including BAE Systems, BMT-DSL and DML.
